K'rul
Also known as: The Maker of Paths | Race: Elder God | Warren/Affiliation: Creator of the WarrensSummary
K'rul is one of the most ancient Elder Gods and the creator of the warren system of magic. He literally bled the warrens into existence from his own body, making him the foundational architect of sorcery in the Malazan world. Every mage who opens a warren is, in a sense, drawing on K'rul's blood. In the present age he manifests in Darujhistan, where the bar bearing his name — K'rul's Bar, run by retired Bridgeburners — is built on the site of his ancient temple.
